Travis Baker recently won a $2.5 million grant from the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) to treat substance abuse disorders. Baker will use TMS therapy to target the brain’s reward system that plays a big role in developing addiction.
Baker’s work will hopefully help people overcome treatment-resistant addiction, and help become an effective player in the treatment of substance abuse disorders. TMS is also currently being used for treatment-resistant depression, and anxiety, as well.
If you are interested in TMS therapy, please call Countryside Neurology at 727-712-1567 for an initial consultation.
