The PHQ-9 test is one of several diagnostic tools that can be used in the screening of depression. It can be used to monitor the severity of depression and response to treatment.
Results between 0-4 can indicate none, 5-9 mild, 10-14 moderate, 15-19 moderately severe, and 20-27 severe in measuring depression.
