According to new research published in the latest edition of Alzheimer’s and Dementia, Vitamin D can improve cognitive function and potentially help slow dementia. In this study, people with higher levels of Vitamin D were able to perform cognitive functions more effectively. These findings reinforced the importance of finding foods and nutrients (such as fruits and leafy greens) that can help create resilience against brain diseases.
Taking Vitamin D also has a host of other health benefits, such as improving bone health and strengthening the immune system. Integrating Vitamin D into your daily diet can be a great way to feed your brain, bones, and body!
